Don’t just rely on the township lightning detection system to determine if you should get off the field or not. If you see lightning or hear thunder, go to a safe place (inside a building with plumbing or electricity or a hard-topped automobile) and start a 30 minute countdown.

New Jersey Youth Soccer requires travel soccer players to be carded each year in order for players to participate within league and tournament games. The Marlboro Soccer Association was recently informed by NJYS that they have implemented a new online process for carding players.
